A beautiful quiet community, Lake Warren is a private lake located 5 miles north of Monmouth, IL on Route 67. It is a 52-acre , spring-fed lake with 2-1/2 miles around the perimeter. It is an exceptionally clean and well maintained lake. We have permanent homes as well as cabins and cottages. Or members can set up in our permanent campground, or enjoy the temporary campsites. We have a great beach open during summer daylight hours. It is a swim at your own risk, with 15 and under requiring an adult. And swimming with a minimum of two people. The lake is well stocked with bass, walleye, catfish, perch, northern, crappies, and more.

Our lake provides members the perfect place to relax, unwind and share good times with family and friends. It is a wonderful place for families to enjoy boating, water-skiing, tubing, swimming, and fishing in the summer and fishing, sledding, ice skating, and ice hockey in the winter. Members also enjoy the scenic walks around the lake or through our nature trail.

Guest Privileges

Each member of Lake Warren shall be given five (5) guest cards per year which shall entitle said member to entertain five guests per year with full privileges of use of reserved corporate property including use of fishing, swimming, and boating facilities. For purposes of this section, one family shall be counted as one guest.

The use of guest privileges is subject to the following terms and conditions:

A. Guests may be entertained without limit to numbers or times at buildings or lots owned or leased by members without the use of guest cards.

B. When guests are using Corporation facilities, guest cards must be presented to corporate employees and/or Board Members upon demand.

C. In all cases, Member must accompany or be on the grounds at the same time that the guest(s) is present and will be responsible for the conduct of same.

D. A guest card shall be valid for a period of one day commencing at 12:01A.M.on the day on which said card shall be used and terminated at midnight of the same day.

E. Any member may purchase additional guest cards at a cost of one dollar per card. Cards are available at the gate house or through Bob Shimmin, Secretary-Treasurer.

F. Guest cards shall not be accumulated from year to year, and shall not be transferable or assignable.

Pontoon boat rides with the member on the boat or swimming within 50 feet of the leasehold of the member with the member present, do not require a guest pass.

Signed and dated guest cards should be returned to the gate house or sent to the lake secretary by the next day after use.
